Terms & Conditions of Entry and Participation

1. General Conditions of Entry
- Entry to and participation in any activities at Minoland Indoor Playground is subject to these Terms and Conditions, together with Waiver signed by participants or their parent/guardian.
- All participants must comply with all posted signage, all safety instructions, and all directions given by staff at all times.
- Minoland reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who fails to comply with rules or staff instructions, engages in unsafe, reckless, or inappropriate behavior, or poses a risk to themselves or others.
2. Supervision of Children
- Children must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for monitoring the behavior of children in their care.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children use equipment safely and appropriately.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children engage only in activities suitable for their ability.
- Minoland does not provide individual supervision of children.
3. Health and Participation Requirements
Participants should only participate in activities suitable for their age, ability and physical condition.
Participants must not participate in activities if they are feeling unwell, injured or affected by any medical condition that may increase the risk of injury.
Participants must not participate in activities while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether a child is fit to participate in any activity.
4. Footwear and Clothing Requirements
- All participants must remove their shoes before entering the play areas.
- Socks must be worn at all times within the Venue.
- Grip socks are required for anyone entering any play or activity areas within the Venue, including but not limited to trampolines, climbing areas, high ropes courses, soft play areas, role-play areas, and reading areas.
- Adults not entering play areas are not required to wear grip socks.
- Clothing must be appropriate for physical activity, with no sharp objects or loose items.
5. General Safety Rules
- Participants must follow all instructions from staff.
- Participants must use equipment only for their intended purposes.
- Participants must behave in a safe and respectful manner.
- Participants must avoid rough play, pushing, or unsafe interactions.
- Participants must not run in restricted areas or where signage is prohibited.
6. Activity-Specific Rules
Trampoline Area
- Minimum height: 110cm.
- Strictly ONE participant on each trampoline at a time.
- Do not attempt any activity beyond your skill level.
- Always land safely on two feet.
- No running, double bouncing or rough play.
- Minoland's grip socks must be worn at all times.
- Participants under 14 years of age must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
Climbing Walls & Auto Belay
- Minimum height: 110cm.
- One participant per climbing element at a time.
- Long hair must be tied back.
- Remove loose items before climbing.
- Harnesses, safety equipment and helmets must be worn correctly at all times.
- Minoland's grip socks must be worn at all times.
- No climbing beyond your ability level.
- Maintain safe spacing from other participants.
- Not recommended for participants over 90kg due to equipment design limitations.
- Participants under 14 years of age must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
High Ropes Course
- Minimum height: 110cm.
- One participant per obstacle at a time.
- Attempt obstacles within your skill level only.
- Harnesses, safety equipment and helmets must be worn correctly at all times.
- Minoland's grip socks must be worn at all times.
- Keep safe distance from other participants.
- Give way to faster participants.
- No climbing on support structures or trusses.
- No pushing, swinging or rough behaviour.
- Not recommended for participants over 90kg due to equipment design limitations.
- Participants under 14 years of age must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
Soft Play Area
- Minoland's grip socks must be worn at all times.
- No rough play, pushing, wrestling or climbing on external netting.
- Slides must be used feet first only.
- One participant at a time on slides.
- No climbing on outside barriers or support structures.
- Food, drinks, chewing gum and sharp objects are prohibited.
- Please maintain safe spacing from other participants.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
- Report hazards or damaged equipment to staff immediately.
Role-Play Area (Interactive Play Zone)
- Do not climb on wall-side structures, shelving, or decorative equipment.
- No rough play, pushing or climbing on furniture or themed structures.
- Children must remain within designated play areas.
- Do not throw toys or play items.
- Toys and play items are intended for use within the role play area only and should remain inside the designated area.
- Food and drinks are not permitted inside the role play area.
- Minoland's grip socks must be worn at all times.
- Small items and props must not be placed in the mouth.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
Arcade / Game Area
- Arcade machines and claw machines must be used as intended only.
- No climbing or leaning on arcade machines.
- Designated seating areas must be used appropriately.
- Please wait your turn and respect other participants.
- Running or rough behavior is not permitted in the arcade area.
- Food, drinks, chewing gum and sharp objects are prohibited.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
- Report machine faults or hazards to staff immediately.
- Minoland is not responsible for lost token card balances or uncollected prizes.
7. Use of Equipment and Venue Property
All equipment, props, and game items are to remain within the Venue.
This helps ensure all guests can continue to enjoy the facilities on future visits.
8. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
Minoland is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.
9. Liability and Risk
Participation in activities involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury.
By entering the Venue, participants acknowledge and accept these risks.
Failure to follow rules or instructions may increase risk and may result in removal from the Venue.
10. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, participants, and parents/guardians of minors, agree to indemnify Melbourne Wonderland against any loss, damage, or claims arising from:
- Failure to comply with these Terms.
- Misuse of equipment.
- Unsafe or inappropriate behavior.
- Actions that cause harm to other participants or property.
11. Minors
A parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on behalf of any person under 18.
The parent/guardian accepts responsibility for the minor's behavior.
The parent/guardian agrees to supervise and ensure compliance with all rules.
The parent/guardian agrees to the indemnity set out above.
12. Tickets, Passes and Memberships
12.1 Entry Tickets
- Entry tickets are valid only for the date, session and duration purchased.
- Additional charges may apply where participants remain beyond their purchased session time.
- All-day upgrades are subject to venue capacity and availability.
- Entry tickets are non-transferable once redeemed.
- Entry tickets are non-refundable. Requests to change a booking may be considered at Melbourne Wonderland's discretion and are subject to availability.
- A $5 adult admission fee applies to all non-participating adults entering the Venue.
- The $5 admission fee may be redeemed for one standard coffee or any food or beverage item of equivalent value from the Café. Any amount exceeding the $5 value must be paid separately.
- The $5 admission fee is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Any adult entering a play or activity area must wear Minoland grip socks.
12.2 Visit Passes
- Visit Passes are valid for the period specified at the time of purchase.
- Unused visits expire at the end of the validity period.
- Visit Passes are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.
- Visit Passes may only be used by the registered child(ren) linked to the family account and may not be resold.
12.3 Membership Program
- Membership benefits, rewards and promotions form part of the Minoland Membership Program.
- Minoland reserves the right to amend, suspend or discontinue any membership benefits, rewards or promotions at its discretion.
- Membership rewards, points and promotional offers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
13. Party Bookings
13.1 Booking Confirmation
- A deposit may be required to secure a party booking.
- Party bookings are not confirmed until any required deposit has been received.
13.2 Final Numbers
Final guest numbers should be confirmed no later than 7 days prior to the event where requested by Minoland.
13.3 Final Payment
Any remaining balance, including charges for additional guests and purchases, must be paid at the conclusion of the party room booking period and before leaving the Venue.
13.4 Cancellations and Changes
- Party booking deposits are non-refundable.
- Minoland may, at its discretion, permit a booking date change where reasonable notice is provided.
- Any approved booking changes remain subject to availability.
13.5 Food and Beverages
- Birthday cakes are permitted.
- Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless approved by Minoland.
- Parents or guardians are responsible for advising Minoland of any dietary requirements or allergies prior to the event.
14. Promotions, Vouchers and Discounts
- Promotional offers, vouchers and discounts cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Only one promotional offer may be used per transaction unless otherwise stated.
- Expired vouchers will not be accepted.
- Minoland reserves the right to amend, suspend or discontinue any membership benefits, rewards or promotions at its discretion.
15. Refunds and Credits
- Change-of-mind purchases are not eligible for refunds.
- Refunds will be provided where required by Australian Consumer Law.
- Minoland may, at its discretion, issue a credit in place of a refund where appropriate.
16. Photography and Marketing
- Photography and video recording may occur within the Venue.
- By entering the Venue, participants consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional and marketing purposes.
- Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional material should notify staff upon arrival.
17. Force Majeure
- Minoland is not liable for any closure, interruption, delay, cancellation or modification of services caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, power outages, government restrictions, emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
18. Acceptance of Terms
By entering the Venue and/or participating in activities, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms, agree to be bound by them, and accept that they apply in addition to Waiver signed.
